
Collaboration is clutch!
I've led a grade level team in English Language Arts. Integrating Utah State Core Standards in Reading, Writing, and Science in large units with hands-on activities through Art. Meaningful environmental connections to content was bridged. Collecting resources and sharing my sources and materials with my grade level team helped create unity and solid curriculum.
Below and right: a few pictures of my resources that I shared with my 3rd grade team.
A 30+ page English Language Arts and Science Integrated Workbook with games, graphic organizers for lesson plans, reading passages and quizzes, spelling words and activities. I used over 20 resources and used the Utah State Core Curriculum as a guideline.

School wide professional development training for English Language Arts. A collaboration with knowledgable leaders who trained the faulty.
- Collaboration during the training helped faculty and myself understand the new concepts.
- The Principal led a group discussion that helped answer questions.
- Collaborated with grade level team to ensure the new system of writing was being taught to all students in the grade.
