Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Post Graduate Certificate, August 2024

As a student pursuing a post-graduate certificate in AI and Machine Learning at Caltech, I engage in an intensive curriculum that covers neural networks, deep learning, natural language processing, and data analytics. AI and ML are skills that have revolutionized technology, and the Caltech AI and Machine Learning program offers a mix of theory, hands-on practice, and real-world applications through projects, labs, and masterclasses. It covers essential skills like Python programming, machine learning, deep learning, generative AI, prompt engineering, explainable AI, ChatGPT, computer vision, and natural language processing. Through hands-on projects and research, I apply theoretical knowledge to real-world problems, developing and deploying AI models while considering ethical implications. Collaborating with experts and peers, I gain practical experience with tools and technologies like Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch. This rigorous training equips me with the expertise to contribute to advanced AI and machine learning projects, preparing me for roles in technology and research.


Past Projects & Experience

  • Working as the Volunteer Coordinator at Park City’s Domestic Violence and Awareness Organization, Peace House, I helped grow their volunteer team over 50%. Created digital marketing campaigns with Salsa Engage to increase community involvement. With use of Salsa CRM’s database, I recorded, analyzed, and created reports of volunteer hours for local and federal grant requirements. Coordinated events and initiatives that significantly boosted participation from the community to volunteer. Reported and conducted staff and volunteer grant required training.

  • Analyzed and reported Key Performance Indicators for SEO SaaS product to customers and internal stakeholders. Trained and coordinated with SEO specialists to ensure projects and reports were completed in a timely manner. Developed onboarding documents for customers and staff. Established health care plan and managed payroll systems. Utilized CMS to curate content for live web pages. Collected, filtered, and organized online content based on consumer and industry trends.

  • As a teacher, I was responsible for planning and delivering instructional lessons to students. I created engaging lesson plans that catered to diverse learning styles and incorporated various teaching aids and technology to enhance understanding. I assessed students' progress through assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth. Additionally, I managed classroom behavior, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. I collaborated with colleagues, parents, and administrators to address students' needs and ensure their overall development. My role also involved continuous professional development to stay updated with educational trends and best practices.

  • As an executive assistant, I provided high-level administrative support to executives and senior management. I managed their schedules, coordinated meetings, and organized travel arrangements to ensure seamless operations. I prepared and reviewed documents, reports, and presentations, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy. Additionally, I handled communication by screening calls, responding to emails, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders. I also planned and executed events, meetings, and conferences, ensuring all logistics were handled efficiently.

    In addition to these duties, I provided assistant HR support by helping with onboarding new employees, and maintaining employee records. My role required me to anticipate the needs of the executives, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously, while also supporting the HR team in various functions.
